BattlecatsLab.fun is a fan-made web tool for The Battle Cats players. It lets you compare units side-by-side, browse the full unit catalog with level-scaled stats, rank units by DPS or HP against specific enemy traits, look up enemy stats, and run a frame-accurate battle simulator. Everything is free, with no paywall and no advertising. Guests can use the core tools and play Casual or Private PvP; an account is only required for Ranked progress and account-based PvP history.
Unit, enemy, talent, and ability data is sourced from Battle Cats Ultimate (BCU), a community-maintained project. We do not own or claim ownership of any game data.
Stats are computed at the chosen level using formulas adapted from BCU reverse-engineered stat tables. Effective stats (DPS, HP) include multipliers for abilities such as Strong Against, Massive Damage, Resistant, and various slayer abilities. Talent bonuses are applied as post-processing on top of base stats.
The simulator runs at 30 frames per second (the native game frame rate). All cooldowns, attack timings, and movement speeds are measured in frames. 1 second equals 30 frames.
Built and maintained by a solo developer who has played The Battle Cats for over eleven years. BattlecatsLab started as a personal side project born from that long history with the game, an attempt to give back to the community and build the tools its own players wanted. The project is open about its limitations and welcomes feedback through the contact page.
