Best Anti-Aku Cats — DPS, Survivability & Shield Utility at Lv30

Aku Shield changes the value of damage: a high-DPS attacker can still stall if it cannot reliably break or pierce the shield. The strongest lineup usually combines sustained anti-Aku stats with at least one shield answer and enough surge safety to keep that answer alive.

Build the team

Bring a reliable shield piercer or repeated heavy hits before committing the rest of your damage.
Use cost-efficient units to force shield refreshes, then deploy your expensive finisher into the opening.
Check surge exposure separately from effective HP; a durable anti-Aku unit can still lose value if it repeatedly walks into surge zones.

Common mistakes

Reading effective DPS as shield damage without checking the unit’s shield-piercing chance.
Spending the whole wallet on one attacker before the Aku Shield has been opened.
